The moment they stepped inside, reality starts to slip away.

A heartbeat later, awakening to another world, another forest that has been split in two. One side, light filtered through lush green canopies, the air singing with warmth and life. Other side, the trees twisted into blackened spires, their roots tangled like grasping hands. Shadows whispered through mist, carrying the scent of decay and madness.

High upon a mountain that seemed to pierce the sky, stands a colossal tree, branches stretched bearing fruit, giving a gift. Those who ate it could live beyond their years, and in rare cases, they awakened with powers beyond imagination, influenced by one's inner self.

The only way back to Earth through a special jade—an iridescent stone mined from the mountain of Echo. But time works differently in this world. A single year spent within the forest could mean years passing by back home.

Individuals will continue to be lured to the cave, whispering of destiny, of freedom, of power, of eternity, of adventure.

Hikaririn, or the Sunforest

A vibrant and life-giving realm bathed in golden light. It is a place of harmony, where nature thrives in its purest form, and the air itself carries a rejuvenating energy. The Suns, the people of this region, are deeply connected to the land, drawing strength and balance from the towering trees and the gentle creatures that roam freely. Life here moves with the rhythm of nature—warm, nurturing, and rich with tradition.

Environmental Attributes

Lush Green Forests – The heart of Hikaririn is a vast, dense woodland where sunlight filters through emerald canopies, giving off a sun bathing feeling that leaks through the limbs and leaves.
Towering Trees – Ancient giant trees, some stretching hundreds of feet into the sky, with massive trunks. Their presence is almost sacred.
Clean, Healing Air – The atmosphere is infused with an almost magical purity, allowing deep breaths to cleanse the body and mind. Wounds heal faster, sickness is rare, and the very act of existing here feels restorative.
Hot Springs – Naturally occurring geothermal pools scattered throughout the region. Some are known for their soothing warmth, while others have properties that enhance vitality and even prolong life.
Dream Meadows – Expanses of rolling meadows blanketed in soft, knee-high grasses that glow in shades of orange and pink. The air here carries a dreamy haze that induces visions and euphoria.

Kagehebi / the Shadow Serpent

A land swallowed by the dark, where trees twisting like ghosts of haunted memories, branches cracking with whispers. The land is suffocated in an eerie twilight, where sunlight struggles to break through the dense, shifting fog. Unlike its counterpart, Hikaririn, this place thrives on darkness, madness, and the unknown. The Shadows, those who call this land home, have adapted to its twisting nature, violence and rage, attuned to the whispers of the forest. The very air here is treacherous—some areas laced with a glow of pink colored mist that seeps into the mind, warping reality and birthing nightmares.

Environmental Attributes

Twisted Dark Trees – The trees here are cracking and twisting, their bark blackened and their branches curling like claws toward the sky. Some seem to move when not watched, their roots creeping like serpents.
Heavy Mist & Fog – A constant, rolling fog blankets the land, muting colors and sound. It creates an endless dusk, where figures shift like ghosts in the haze. Sometimes creating a labyrinth within this dark land.
Pink Haze Pockets – In certain areas, the mist takes on a vibrant pink hue, a warm warning. It is said that those who linger too long within it suffer hallucinations—visions of horrors, their worst fears made manifest. Some never escape the madness.
Swamplands & Murky Rivers – Pools of dark water dot the land, some so still they reflect nothing. The rivers move sluggishly, carrying the scent of decay.
Shadows That Move – Some say the darkness in Kagehebi is alive, shifting unnaturally at the edges of vision. Whether creatures unseen moving or the sounds of the unknown, something worse lays awaiting on this side.
